Rina & Jesse were married on 11 February 2017 in EFG Gusternhain, Germany. Rina chose the Marcella bridal gown from our Emanuella collection and was looked after by our expert bridal consultant Kajsa. After chatting about her dream look with Kajsa, Rina decided to add her own personal touch with lace cap sleeves and a stunning illusion back detail with buttons to make the gown truly her own.
Peter Trends: How did you meet your husband?
Rina: We worked together for the same not for profit organisation in Newcastle and became close friends working on the same team.
Peter Trends: How did your husband propose to you?
Rina: He had friends set up candles and flowers at the Pavillion in King Edward Park in Newcastle while a musician played guitar and harmonica. He walked me down and proposed.
Peter Trends: What was your favourite part of your wedding day?
Rina: The beauty of being able to celebrate with friends and family who came from all over Germany and flew in from five different countries. We felt very loved by that.
Peter Trends: How did you find the experience of shopping for a wedding gown?
Rina: It was such a lovely experience, relaxed, fun, filled with laughter and great advice and insight from Kajsa who suggested the dress I bought.
Peter Trends: What did you love about your gown?
Rina: It’s unique, suited my complexion perfectly and was so incredibly comfortable. I wore it for 16 hours because German weddings are long.
Peter Trends: Any words of wisdom for future brides?
Rina: Listen to your heart. Just like you know when you found THE MAN you’ll know when you try on THE DRESS.
Peter Trends: Is there anything else special you would like to share with us about your wedding day?
Rina: In the end what mattered most to us were the people we loved and the chance to celebrate love. All the details won’t matter much.
